Exhumed announce gory new album Horror, unleash single “Ravenous Cadavers”: Stream

Loss of life steel veterans Exhumed are set to ship extra of their signature gory grindcore on their ninth studio album, Horror. Upfront of the LP, the band is providing up the delectably titled album monitor “Ravenous Cadavers”.

For a band that sounds like a gory ’80s horror tape from the restricted part of the video rental retailer, Exhumed embrace the idea full-on for Horror, which is about to be launched on October 4th. That vibe is captured on the VHS-rental-themed album artwork and the decadent “Rental Retailer” deluxe bundle, which really is available in a field that appears like a VCR.

The band recorded the album at their very own house studio for the primary time of their profession, enlisting Alejandro Corredor (Brujeria, Nausea) to co-produce, with Poisonous Holocaust’s Joel Grind dealing with the combo and grasp.

“Horror is all about stripping away the whole lot and getting right down to the core components of our sound: uncooked and nasty aggression,” frontman Matt Harvey remarked in a press launch. “The album’s like mainlining Grinding Loss of life Metallic at a deadly dose. Should you favored the extra intricate, melodic stuff that we’ve achieved, this will not be the one for you. Should you’re a fuckin’ maniac that desires to pound some beers and smash up some tombstones, that is the document you’ve been ready for.”

We don’t advise desecrating any graves, however the “Ravenous Cadavers” (pay attention under) actually portrays that imagery with its brutal tones and ambient evilness a la Slayer’s early and extra sinister works. Tracks with titles like “Utter Mutilation of Your Corpse” and “Naking, Screaming, and Coated in Blood” promise related thematic strands.

Pre-orders for the album — together with the aforementioned deluxe field set, which incorporates the LP, a T-shirt, the album on VHS with accompanying visuals, and extra (restricted to 100) —  can be found from Relapse right here.
