Zakk Sabbath to “faithfully rerecord” Black Sabbath’s debut album for 50th anniversary

Zakk Sabbath — the Black Sabbath tribute band led by Ozzy Osbourne guitarist and Black Label Society frontman Zakk Wylde — have introduced that they are going to report a devoted model of Black Sabbath’s 1970 self-titled debut album for a restricted launch on its actual 50th anniversary.
Along with Wylde, Zakk Sabbath is rounded out by Ozzy Osbourne bassist Blasko and former Queens of the Stone Age drummer Joey Castillo. The tribute album can be titled Vertigo, in reference to the report label that launched Black Sabbath’s debut LP.
In a posting on their Fb web page, Zakk Sabbath launched the next assertion:
“Vertigo Data issued the debut album by Black Sabbath, on Friday the 13th of 1970, and the world was by no means the identical. Legendarily recorded in a single day in October 1969, the earthmoving self-titled set closed the e book on hippie optimism with its darkish magic and ushered in a model new style, setting the steel template for many years to come back.
Precisely 50 years to the date later, Zakk Sabbath will have fun the primary chapter within the Sabbath catalog with a reverently rendered tribute, merely titled Vertigo. Our intention is to faithfully rerecord the album within the spirit of the unique recordings: stay in a completely analog studio, direct to 2 inch tape, in a single 24 hour interval. A movie crew will doc the method, culminating in a single album and DVD launch restricted to only 500 copies and delivered to purchasers on February 13, 2020.
