A big volcano has erupted in New Zealand, inflicting 20 accidents and no less than 5 deaths. Some folks stay unaccounted for. At the least one US vacationer was within the neighborhood. Dramatic footage of the eruption, which occurred at Whakaari/White Island, simply off New Zealand’s shoreline, at about 2.15pm native time on Monday, reveals enormous plumes of smoke and particles being blasted kilometres into the sky.
