The ‘Baltimore Solar’ Calls Donald Trump A Rat In Open Letter
The Baltimore Solar didn’t take too kindly to Donald Trump’s feedback over the weekend calling Maryland’s seventh congressional district: “a disgusting, rat and rodent-infested mess” and “the worst run and most harmful [district] anyplace in the US.”
In accordance with Areavibes.com, 62.99% of Baltimore’s inhabitants is Black or African American.
Whereas launching a Twitter assault on Rep. Elijah Cummings, a 68-year-old son of a former South Carolina sharecropper who has represented the district within the U.S. Home of Representatives since 1996, Trump hurled a collection of insults in the direction of Cummings’ district, calling Baltimore a “very harmful & filthy place.”
In protection of their metropolis, the Solar’s Editorial Board responded to The President of America on Sunday morning (July 28) with a prolonged open letter.
“It’s not onerous to see what’s happening right here,” the submit learn. “The congressman has been a thorn on this president’s aspect, and Mr. Trump sees attacking African American members of Congress pretty much as good politics, because it each warms the cockles of the white supremacists who love him and causes so lots of the considerate individuals who don’t to scream.”

After calling Trump “probably the most dishonest man to ever occupy the Oval Workplace,” the editorial concluded with the final word clap again: “Higher to have some vermin residing in your neighborhood than to be one.”
