Sturgill Simpson shares new observe “Sing Alongside”: Stream

Sturgill Simpson’s new album, Sound & Fury, is coming paired with a Netflix anime movie of the identical title. Right now, we’ve been given our first style of each with the lead single “Sing Alongside”.

Musically, “Sing Alongside” finds Simpson crunching his roots rock within the tooth of different electronica. It’s a heavier sound even for a man who’s identified for turning issues up a notch, and an intense match for the accompanying visible. Directed by Jumpei Mizusaki (Batman: Ninja), the phase of Sound & Fury the film focuses on a streetcar-driving samurai making an attempt to disrupt the cargo of some treasured commodity to the elite of a post-apocalyptic metropolis. When the autocrats flip their weapons on the hero, a twist reveals who’s actually combating for the oppressed.

Sound & Fury the album and movie will likely be concurrently launched on September 27th. With character design from Afro Samurai creator Takashi Okazaki, the visible side options path from Masaru Matsumoto (Starship Troopers: Traitors of Mars), Michael Arias (The Animatrix), Henry Thurlow and Arthell Isom of D’Artwork Shtajio, and Koji Morimoto (Akira).
