Slayer stunned the metallic world after they introduced their farewell tour in January 2018, and now the band has teased its “last chapter” coming this fall.

In a brand new video trailer posted on the band’s YouTube channel, a silhouetted man is seen digging filth with a shovel earlier than staking a big cross into the bottom.

Together with the imagery, a dramatic voiceover delivers the next passage:

“To each story, there’s a tragedy. Life is a ebook, full of chapters. Some inform tales of time. Some inform tales of the darkish. To each monster, there’s a hero. To each nightmare, all of us get up. To each story, there’s a last chapter. Some monsters can turn into human. Different monsters reap for revenge. That is the top of the monsters.”

The Slayer emblem, together with the phrases “Fall 2019” and the Nuclear Blast Data emblem all seem on the finish. Might it imply the ultimate leg within the band’s ongoing farewell tour? Or might it imply one last album from the thrash metallic legends? Or each?

The band is at the moment slated to play the U.S. festivals Riot Fest and Exit 111, together with a handful of South American gigs in September and October.
