Pink Floyd announce 18-disc field set of post-Roger Waters materials

Pink Floyd have introduced a large new field set dubbed, The Later Years. Due out November 29th, the 18-disc assortment gathers a great deal of audio and visible materials from the enduring band’s post-Roger Water years, specializing in the work of David Gilmour, Nick Mason, and Richard Wright from 1987 and past.

First up are 5 CDs that includes 1987’s A Momentary Lapse of Motive, the 1988 stay album Delicate Sound of Thunder (unfold over two discs), the primary official launch of the 1990 Knebworth Live performance, and a 65-minute compilation of stay recordings from 1987 and 1994 alongside seven beforehand unreleased studio tracks from ’94. Momentary Lapse has been “up to date and remixed,” with new, freshly restored contributions from late keyboardist Richard Wright in addition to newly recorded drums from Nick Mason. The added audio is supposed to “restore the artistic steadiness between the three Pink Floyd members.”

5 of the six included Blu-rays are duplicated on the 5 DVDs, with the outlier containing encompass and hi-res audio mixes of 152 minutes of music from A Momentary Lapse, 1994’s The Division Bell, and 2014’s The Infinite River. The remainder of the Blu-rays/DVDs function Delicate Sound and Pulse; the controversial 1989 Venice live performance alongside the Knebworth competition efficiency; a disc of stay movies, music movies, and “The Division Bell Tour”‘s live performance display movies, plus Pink Floyd’s Rock and Roll Corridor of Fame induction efficiency with Billy Corgan and an album-length The Infinite River visible; and a group of documentaries and beforehand unreleased materials.

Lastly, there are two 7-inch singles within the bundle. One options Pink Floyd’s efficiency of “Arnold Layne” on the 2007 Syd Barrett tribute live performance, whereas the opposite is a tour rehearsal recording of “Misplaced for Phrases”. Each singles have an etched picture on their respective B-sides.

All of this comes with a 60-page hard-backed photograph ebook; duplicate tour packages; a lyric ebook; and memorabilia reproductions like tour passes, stickers, and posters.
