Metallica’s Kirk Hammett to steer all-star covers band for one-off present
Kirk Hammett and Rob Trujillo of Metallica will likely be performing as a part of an all-star covers band known as “The Marriage ceremony Band” on July 26th on the Cosmopolitan Music Corridor in Richmond Hill, Ontario, simply north of Toronto.
The efficiency is conjunction with the “It’s Alive!” exhibition on the Royal Ontario Museum, that includes gadgets from Hammett’s private assortment of horror and sci-fi memorabilia.
The Marriage ceremony Band — rounded out by singer Whitfield Crane of Ugly Child Joe and drummer Joey Castillo, previously of Queens of the Stone Age — will play “basic covers from bands like AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Billy Idol, and extra.”
Hammett and Trujillo have had an itch to play covers, jamming songs from native or necessary artists in every metropolis throughout Metallica’s WorldWired tour, together with an unlikely model of “I Wanna Be Adored” by the Stone Roses in Manchester, England; Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Candy Residence Alabama” in Birmingham, Alabama; and Prince’s “When Doves Cry” in Minnesota, amongst others.

The July live performance is ready to be an intimate one, with the band performing 45 minutes of canopy materials to a 200 capability crowd.
