Hayhoe recollects being informed by a fellow local weather activist that “each time you flip in your automobile, you’re sinning.“
“My visceral response to any individual saying that to me was: ‘Oh, so once I take my little one to the physician, you’re saying I’m sinning? Once I go to work to assist my household, I’m sinning?’”
She informed Galloway “that shaming made me wish to simply exit and discover a Hummer and drive circles round that individual.“

I can perceive Katharine Hayhoe lashing out – when is the final time Katharine was invited to talk to the European Union or French or British Parliaments?
However Katharine’s impatience with this new local weather hero upstart for my part has led her to make a traditional strategic error.
