Harley Flanagan engaged on new Cro-Mags album that appears like “Metallica meets Minor Risk”

In an Instagram submit, Harley Flanagan revealed that he’s engaged on a brand new Cro-Mags album with producer Arthur Rizk, and in contrast the brand new music to “Metallica meets Minor Risk.”

Flanagan lately received sole possession of the title “Cro-Mags” in a authorized settlement which resulted in two variations of the legendary hardcore punk band, the opposite now going by “Cro-Mags JM” and that includes John Joseph, Mackie Jayson, A.J. Novello and Craig Setari.

Flanagan sued Joseph and Jayson over rights to the title, finally gaining the unique title for himself. The Cro-Mags JM camp referred to the settlement as a “win-win scenario” in an announcement.

Flanagan wrote within the caption to an image of a Dangerous Brains mug and visual multi-tracks on a laptop computer display screen: “Had nice day of manufacturing yesterday engaged on the brand new Cro-Mags album with my man Arthur Rizk. I can truthfully say a few of it appears like if Cro-Mags would have written Grasp of Puppets! There are elements of it that remind me of Metallica meets Minor Risk, and there are elements of it that remind me of Dangerous Brains meet Metallica. And but all of it appears like Cro-Mags. Then I went and taught a youngsters Jiu-Jitsu class at Renzo Gracie Academy.  Life is nice, and I’m loving it!!!! ;)”

Maybe his reclamation of the Cro-Mags title was a second of reconciliation for Flanagan, who allegedly attacked members of Joseph’s model of the band with a looking knife in 2012 backstage at Webster Corridor in New York.
