Chilly Conflict Youngsters return with two new tracks “Complainer” and “4th of July”: Stream
Simply two years after dropping their final full-length, LA Divine, Chilly Conflict Youngsters are prepared with a follow-up. Entitled New Age Norms, the file is predicted this fall. As an early preview, CWK have shared two new tracks, “Complainer” and “4th of July”.
The lead monitor, “Complainer” was produced by Lars Stalfors (St. Vincent, Foster the Folks) and was co-written by Bonnie McKee (Katy Perry’s “Roar”, “Teenage Dream”, and so forth) and Electrical Visitor’s Asa Taccone. With a grooving stomp and a muted funk, the monitor finds Chilly Conflict Youngsters laying down a problem for the ineffectual dreamers of the world: “Don’t wanna speak/ Already know what I need/ You bought large plans / However you by no means take an opportunity, uh huh.”
“4th of July” in the meantime is one thing of the reverse. A piano bopper laying again within the solar, the tune is about acknowledging how far Chilly Conflict Youngsters have come — and being cautious to not lose themselves in success.
Take a hearken to each songs beneath.
