Authentic Lamborghini artwork automotive bows at Monterey Automobile Week
Lamborghini on Thursday took the wraps off its Aventador S artwork automotive designed by Skyler Gray, a 19-year-old artist from Los Angeles.
The Aventador S was a three-week venture by Gray, designed in Sant’Agata by Lamborghini, which Lamborghini CEO Stefano Domencali stated was already bought to a collector.
The orange automotive pays tribute to the artist Andy Warhol’s “Campbell’s Soup Cans” with a distinctly Lamborghini theme. Splayed throughout the entrance of the automotive are lashes of yellow paint with white splashes, whereas giant white, grey, and black bulls are splayed throughout the edges. Inside, the automotive options black leather-based inside with orange stitching and accents, and an ornate stitched bull between the 2 seats.
Gray stated the automotive was a part of a three-week residency at Lamborghini’s newly expanded paint store, and is licensed by the automaker as a one-off piece of artwork. The automotive is a part of the automaker’s pilot venture, referred to as “Lamborghini Sicura,” which certifies automobiles prefer it on the market and prohibits counterfeits later.
